Bio:

Jeffrey Gropp's research interests include finance, behavioral finance, econometrics, public policy and public finance. He has a growing interest in the philosophy of classical liberalism and is the author of Teaching Classical Liberalism in the Liberal Arts. He teaches a course on Liberty and the Role of Government. 

More recently, Gropp has returned to his original area of interest: finance. He is conducting research on hedging volatility using asymmetric GARCH techniques in commodity markets with a particular interest in reverse leverage effects in such markets.
