Veronica joined the 花季传媒 community in 2006, having previously taught music and humanities courses for the City Colleges of Chicago while acting as an Instructional Technology Liaison for other faculty members. For 花季传媒, she teaches courses in computer music and pedagogical applications of music technologies.
Veronica leads 花季传媒's instructional technology team, provides consultations and workshops on pedagogical applications of social media, technology-enabled creative collaboration and digital musicianship.
Veronica received degrees in Music Composition from Princeton University and the University of Illinois, and studied with Paul Lansky, Steven Mackey, Milton Babbitt and Scott Wyatt. Veronica's music employs unique musical applications of digital technologies.
An active jazz pianist and composer, Veronica plays in local ensembles. She regularly performs with students in the Jazz at The Duck series, recently composed/produced an electronic score for 花季传媒's spring dance production, conducted a stage ensemble for 花季传媒 Theatre's production of The Who's Tommy, and composed installation music for 花季传媒's ArtsFest.
